HP G62t Laptop

Corporate big shots are not only those who could afford a premium laptop, thanks to HP, even regular salary men can own an executive laptop without the hefty price tag. Computer giant Hewlett Packard recently introduced an entry level G62t series laptop with an unbelievable starting cost of $599.99. At that asking price, you’ll get a 15.6-inch laptop that features an energy saving High Definition LED display with 16:9 aspect ratio, a comfortable redesigned full-sized QWERTY and numeric keyboard and touchpad, integrated Altec Lansing speakers and an Intel i-series processor. All of those are encased in a modern industrial design with fingerprint resistant matte finish. Not bad for starters.

Inside the HP G62t, you’ll find that it runs on a stock 2.13GHz Intel Core i3 Dual Core processor with 3MB L2 Cache. At an additional cost, the CPU can be further upgraded up to a 2.66GHz Intel i7 processor with 4MB L3 Cache and Turbo Boost technology. Installed inside the G62t is a 2GB DDR3 which HP kindly upgraded to 3GB for free. The standard HDD is a 7200RPM 160GB capacity SATA drive upgradable up to 500GB. The G62t comes with a standard Intel HD graphics, DVD optical drive, microphone, Wi-Fi and long lasting 6 cell battery. To suit their needs, customers can also choose to add more features like Blu-ray drives, up to 4GB of RAM, microphone and webcam combo, 5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader and HDMI.
